About Timothy F. Robertson
Admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 2006, Mr. Robertson is a member in good standing. Attorney Robertson graduated from New England Law | Boston in 2006, where he was the Current Developments editor of the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law and a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team. Attorney Robertson clerked for the Boston law firm, Morrison Mahoney LLP. He began his career as an associate at the Boston area firms, Gargano & Associates, P.C. and Sullivan & Collins, LLC.
Attorney Robertson opened his own office in 2015, focusing on estate planning, probate, and guardianship law. He drafts wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and living wills, in addition to gift and estate tax planning. He also welcomes opportunities to assist with probate, special needs, and long-term care planning. Mr. Robertson has been a court appointed Guardian to make personal and healthcare decisions for incapacitated persons, and he assists clients in getting appointed Guardian or Conservator through the probate court, advising them on their powers and responsibilities, and helping prepare proper accountings to the court. He also litigates issues involving guardianships, health care proxies, civil commitments, and involuntary treatment. He holds a finance degree from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Mr. Robertson is a member of the Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Guardianship Association, and the Boston Trusts and Estates Consortium. His other interests include basketball, Middle Eastern cuisine, and working with his family's deaf dog, Pudding.
